Pupil by grade pyramids show the number of pupils by sex and by grade over time from 2000-2025. The pyramids include years of historical data (generally from 2000-2007) from UIS, and pupil projections from the EPDC using the model ProEnrol or HIPE check!!
The animated Gender Disparity in Enrolment Rates graphs show male and female primary and secondary gross enrolment rates as they change from 1970 to 2007. The graphs show that globally there has been marked progress towards gender parity, still with exceptions in some countries.
EPDC draws inspiration from the pioneering work of Gapminder and the Trendalyzer.
