The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) provides developing country partners the incentives, resources, and technical support to build and implement sound education plans. Members of the Partnership mobilize and coordinate resources to support the achievement of these plans' targets to help more children enrol in school and for a better education. A more detailed description of the Global Partnership for Education can be found at www.globalpartnership.org. EPDC is working with the GPE Secretariat, based in Washington DC, to develop education and finance milestones for countries endorsed and eligible for GPE on a set of key indicators, including intake, enrollment, completion, and expected resource needs. EPDC also projects funding gaps for these countries, assisting the Secretariat in planning requests for donor funding.
